Empowering communities with The Nobelity Project

The Nobelity Project is an organisation that focuses on educational and environmental progress in East Africa, Latin America, and their hometown in Texas. They have been one of our most valuable partners through the years, supporting our rhino conservation and community development projects.

Last year, when many students could not go to school as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Nobelity Project donated over 1,000 revision books. These books were crucial in ensuring that the students, many of whom do not have internet access, could study from home so as to not fall behind in their studies.

In January this year, the organisation built and furnished a library for the Loise Girls Secondary School which will be used by over 250 students. At Mirera Primary School, the project helped construct a two-classroom preschool unit The former shared classroom was converted into a fully furnished library with books donated from Storymoja. This library will benefit over 300 preschoolers.

The Nobelity Project has also worked on various water projects. Lack of accessibility to clean water in some of our communities is a common challenge. For students, it leads to persistent hygiene-caused illnesses, which means irregular school attendance. The Nobelity Project has played a significant role in providing water purification systems in Njoguini and Ireri Primary Schools, having a profound impact on both students and the surrounding communities.

We are so grateful for the impact the Nobelity Project has had on our surrounding communities. A heartfelt thank you to this team as we look forward to all the impactful projects and partnerships planned for the near future.
